The Hospital de Sant Pau is considered an important architectural and cultural treasure, both nationally and internationally. It was designed by the Catalan architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, one of the main exponents of Catalan modernism, and its construction was carried aout between 1901 and 1930. The pavilion of the Administration is one of the most representative buildings of the Hospital de Sant Pau and is considered one of the best examples of Catalan modernist architecture. Currently, the building is used as space for exhibitions and cultural events and is a must for any lover of architecture and culture in Barcelona.
